JJ Lorenzo is a Spanish photographer based between Paris and London. He studied Sociology at the Complutense University of Madrid and later completed a Master of Fine Arts in Photography at EFTI. He then moved to the UK, where he grew as a photographer and lived for over a decade.
His work, rooted in long-term projects, includes an ongoing project in Ukraine spanning from the years following the Maidan Revolution to the present day, and a collaboration with Caribbean artist Jawara Alleyne — Sun as an Anchor, published in 2024.
